"STIPPLE"

In the case of world reknown stipple artist Todd Claydon, illustrations are made up of
hundreds of thousands of hand applied dots taking months to complete.
This is done with a .25 technical pen assuring
consistancy of dot size.

Stipple was originally a technique used mainly
for print reproduction in times gone by.
Today it is practised by a select few in the world and used mainly for
portrait work, or headcuts as some may refer to it as.
